The more videos of your shop you upload, the better! Be as creative as you can. Make sure to promote any discounts or promotions linked to your store. Each shop has a unique QR Code – Scanning QR codes takes people directly to your shop. Through the QR code, products and shops can be shared outside the app through email, WhatsApp, and other social media platforms. Also, you can see how many people viewed and followed your store.

If you are a Seller, you can upload short reels about your store or product to market your products and services. These will feature on the window-shopping feed.
Based on video-driven social media (think TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook video feeds), these can be liked, commented on, and shared. The videos also link directly to your store, so if someone likes a video they can click on it and go directly to your store.
The video feed is continuously updated with all the latest uploads from the BuyMyStuff community. The feed a user sees is linked to their location. E.g. If you are based in a suburb of Johannesburg, it will automatically show you videos in that area. However, you can change your location to anywhere in the world and scroll through what is available in that region. Be curious and go wild!
